With Sofon, KPN created a bid generator that ensures uniform, consistent, and high-quality quotations. The bid generator uses standard building blocks to propose customer-specific solutions. A quotation can combine portfolios, joining multiple services in a single quotation. The browser-based solution enables fast onboarding of new product portfolios using a standard structure for products, pricing, and commercial texts. The system also ensures that only an authorized product portfolio can be quoted by the sales reps.
