Management team

Dennis Gouka

On January 1st, 2018, Dennis started to work at Sofon in the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). Dennis has gained years of experience in the manufacturing industry in various executive and management positions. He had a strong focus on commercial excellence, communication and organizational effectiveness in these positions. With this appointment, Sofon has strengthened its management to be able to realize its growth targets for the coming years. Dennis studied Business Economics at the University of Rotterdam and holds a master’s degree in Economics from the University of Phoenix.

Harry Doedens

doedens Harry is active in the position of Chief Operations Officer (COO). Harry is responsible for all operational activities, including project implementations, customer support and facility. In more than 30 years, Harry has gained experience in various executive and management positions in the areas IT and finance, including in a number of operating companies within CRH plc. Within the CRH subsidiary Heras he was responsible for the SAP and Sofon implementation. Harry studied Business Economics at the HEAO of Groningen.

Johan Wolthuis

wolthuisAs Group Director for Sales, Johan is responsible for the international expansion of the Sofon Group. Before Sofon, he worked in several General and Sales management positions at Information Builders, Randstad and Progress Software. He also founded two companies active at the intersection of management consultancy and ICT. Johan studied mechanical engineering, completed with various organizational and information technology educations.

Paul Kimmel

kimmel titlePaul founded Sofon in 1998 and leads Sofon’s software development team, building on over 25 years of software engineering experience. Prior to Sofon Paul held software development and development management roles at VOLMAC (now Sogeti), BSO (now AtosOrigin) and Data Sciences (now IBM). During this period Paul was responsible for some of Europe’s most sophisticated sales configuration development projects at companies such as Philips and Stork. Paul holds a master’s degree in electronics from Eindhoven University.
